Minister Guido Mantega said it today, Brazil's economy has overtaken France and Great Britain, when the purchasing power parity as a benchmark does, and has thus risen to No. 7 in the world rankings. Last year it had already passed the ninth. The G20 countries, GDP growth in Brazil was only behind that of China, India, Argentina and Turkey.
