theater criticism - by Raymund Martini Passion, theater Trier 01.04.2010 The dance troupe of the theater Trier is good in what is known in the dance piece "Passion" by Sven Grützmacher once again was able to do much. The stage fits into the scenes and it had agreed to the appearance of the many other aspects as well. What bothered me in some scenes was the variety of events. So the actors romp across the stage, something here, because what, everyone plays his role and make the 15 or 20 people if the viewer has to watch a lot and then one to one or another aspect overlooks may be understandable. Yes you look in a scene not always the main character. David Scherzer as the Messiah and thus one has the right dancers simply given the right role. Scherzer has just not only the outward appearance that can certainly think of a Messiah as he might look for, Scherzer impresses with its strong expression in the dance scenes. Peter Koppel man in the role of Pilate. It has on one page amazing that such a small theater like Trier seen such a good actor and singer under contract. Koppelman not only plays a role, Koppel man lives his roles. The choirs, listen to a song for once the man. The choir has an active and in the scenes with one or the other singers like such a little acting skills have been lost. But back to the dance troupe. I did not let me take some gentlemen in France to give a small tip for the 11th April guest Trier's dance troupe in Corsica. As the Messiah, the crown was placed slightly bubbled "blood" at the top along. But only on one side and I got the impression that the left side of the head of the Messiah seems immune to thorns. Then in other scenes, there was the Messiah with "blood stripes" and since I just had to say: "Ouch." It looked rather as if a child has spilled red paint something but it never, ever gave the appearance of strokes, etc. A final point of criticism is probably known, but seems always to be pushed aside. There should at Trier theater actors and actresses, dancers and dancers whose talent rather in a different vocation. But theater Trier has real talent as Koppelman and succinctly. Dance and drama needs space and with horror I think of it as often as the dance troupe in the premises (the former police headquarters) have to practice. Everything is far too small area. Trier currently has a plethora of construction projects and there would be tons of gyms. The gym at Green Mountain Kürenz does have a solid floor but would provide a huge area. Yes and if you want to do something for art and culture, a new play about a real big hall with security an asset to the city would also attract other great artists and the talents of the Trier has already vll provide an echo in the long run when Theater Trier want to stay.
